O’Mara & Savage Real Estate began trading on 1st July 1989 following the formation of a partnership between Jim O’Mara, John Savage and his cousin Peter Savage.

Jim and Peter’s former partner in the business Mr John Savage has now retired. On the 1st July 1998 their business reached another milestone in its growth with the merger with the former Raine & Horne office at Ballina. With this successful merger, Jim and Peter took on a new partner in Mr Neville Foster. Neville has a background of many years in broadacre farming in the Gunnedah region prior to making his move to his new profession in Ballina some few years ago.

The company specialises in residential, commercial, industrial and rural sales, property investment management and auctions of all classes of property. Certified valuations can be arranged when required.

On 1st July 1999 O'Mara & Savage Real Estate joined the CENTURY 21 group as their first franchised agent in the Northern Rivers region of NSW and they are proud of this association which offers the added advantage of the technological advances in Real Estate marketing which is available through CENTURY 21 Australia to their clients not just Australia wide but throughout 66 countries on a world wide basis.

In August 2003, Jim O'Mara retired and Peter Savage became the licensee.
